Quanex Building Products Signs on as Platinum Sponsor for Architects’ Forum™ 2016

Quanex Building Products will serve as a Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming Architects’ Forum™ 2016, taking place June 2 in Bellevue, Wash. (suburban Seattle) at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The event is sponsored and organized by the Architect’s Guide to Glass & Metal magazine.
As part of its sponsorship, Quanex will present its AIA-accredited program titled “How Structural Silicone Spacers Contribute to Sustainable Window Design.” The program focuses on utilizing the latest silicone technologies for commercial facades. Its primary focus is on achieving optimal/green building design through improving energy efficiency, long-term durability and waste reduction. It will cover insulating glass history with a focus on structural silicone spacers and their significance to energy efficiency and sustainability design in glazing. The program is designed to help participants learn to identify multiple characteristics of flexible silicone spacers that promote durable/sustainable glazing design.
In addition to the presentations, Architects’ Forum™ 2016 will provide attendees with a number of other educational and networking opportunities.
