Architects’ Forum 2013 Opens in Less than Four Months

November 14th, 2012 | Category: Event News, Industry News

Plans are underway for Architects’ Forum 2013, set to take place March 7 at the Hyatt Regency Long Island at Wind Watch Hotel & Golf Club in Hauppauge (Long Island), N.Y. The one-day event will provide architects with opportunities for news, information and education, all designed with them specifically in mind.

The program will offer a number of seminar presentations, all of which will be accredited courses by the American Institute of Architects. The presentation line-up currently includes “Ensuring Compliance of Fenestration with Today’s Energy Codes and Green Standards,” presented by YKK AP; “The Evolution of Architectural Glass and High Performance Coatings,” presented by Guardian Industries; and “Glass Fabrication and Design Issues” presented by J.E. Berkowitz L.P.

In addition to the educational sessions, the Forum also offers architects a number of other networking opportunities. These include the chance to learn about various new glass products showcased during a tabletop display; networking lunches and coffee breaks; as well as free admission into the Glass Expo Northeast trade show taking place concurrently.

Architects’ Forum 2013 is free for architects to attend and registration is available online at glassguides.com/forum.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well. Companies interested in participating may contact Ellen Rogers at erogers@glass.com or call 540/720-5584 ext. 118.
