Architects’ Guide to Glass Welcomes Newest Blogger
August 4th, 2011 | Category: Industry NewsArchitect Bob Borson has joined the blogger line-up on the Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal website and bi-weekly e-newsletter. Borson will provide insight into working on different projects, offering attention to the surrounding glass, glazing and other fenestration details. In his first blog Borson talks about ways architects can find inspiration for their many projects.
Borson is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, a registered architect, an associate principle at Bernbaum Magadini Architects in Dallas. He is also the creator of the website, LifeofanArchitect.com. Likewise, he has more than 3,000 followers on Twitter, including many architects as well as glass companies and organizations.
“Despite rumors to the contrary,” Borson says, “I’m a regular guy who can’t be in two places at once, but still mow my own grass.”
“We’re very excited to have Bob join our blogging team,” says Ellen Rogers, editor of the Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal. “Social media, including blogging and Twitter are quickly become a mainstream practice for businesses. Bob is well-know in this realm and we’re looking forward to sharing his views and insights with our readers.”
Borson’s blog will run in the Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal e-newsletter the first Wednesday of each month.
