Zeidler Uses Glass Features in Designing Mohawk College’s Fennell Campus

The Learning Exchange at Mohawk College—Fennell Campus in Hamilton, designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects, features the extensive use of glass and glazing. At approximately 43,000 square feet, the three-level building was designed to LEED® Gold standard. High-performance glazing is just one of the sustainable features that help to ensure optimal occupant comfort while providing a healthy study, work and socializing space.

The building footprint and extensive windows allow light to flow into the building. It also features a stainless steel inverted frameless glass curtainwall system. The laminated colored glass enclosure brings a rainbow-inspired overall hue on the upper level reflecting the inclusive and diverse student body of the college.
