AIA New York has announced the winners of its 2011 Design Awards. Three projects designed by Ennead Architects have been recognized with 2011 AIANY Design Awards of Merit.
Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant: Richard Olcott and James Polshek, design partners; Timothy Hartung, management partner; in association with Greeley-Hansen, Hazen & Sawyer and Malcolm Pirnie, a Triventure.
The Standard, New York: Todd Schliemann, design partner; Kevin McClurkan, management partner.
The Gateway Center, Westchester Community College: Susan Rodriguez, design partner; Timothy Hartung, management partner.
Awards will be presented on April 12 at the Annual Design Awards Luncheon being held at Cipriani Wall Street.
Now in its 30th year, this design awards program recognizes outstanding architectural design by New York City architects and honors exemplary work in New York City done by architects from around the globe.
