Bayer MaterialScience LLC Offers Course for Architects

Chemicals Do Good Things for Building Products, Too: How to Improve Building Sustainability and Energy Efficiency by Choosing Products that Use Advanced Materials, an hour and a half long course, is being offered by Bayer MaterialScience and the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System. The educational course will cover the evaluation and selection of materials in order to create a sustainable commercial structure. Ideas and options that will be discussed in the course include building envelope (insulation), daylighting, illumination, indoor environment quality, intelligent building and renewable energy.

Those attending the class can earn 1.5 sustainable design and health, safety, and welfare learning units.
