New 90 K Street Building Features High-Performance Glass

Designed by SmithGroup Inc., the new building is the first of four planned for Trammell Crow Company’s Sentinel Square development.
According to an article in CityBiz Real Estate, the exterior of the 12-story, 412,000 square-foot building consists of individually-glazed units, curtainwall, precast concrete, stainless steel metal panels and black granite. The article notes that the building is expected to earn LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Among its sustainable elements is its high-performance curtainwall system.
