Key Construction Completes 204,000 S.F. Silver LEED Project for CIGNA
February 10th, 2010 | Category: Industry NewsKey Construction of Fort Worth recently completed CIGNA Pointe One: Regional Headquarters in Plano for CMC Commercial Realty Group of Dallas. The project was designed and constructed according to LEED® sustainable design guidelines and is being submitted for Silver LEED certification.
Constructed to be a regional headquarters for CIGNA, the 204,000 square foot, four-story complex features a concrete façade enhanced with a glass curtainwall, thin brick and aluminum.
This facility incorporates an East-West orientation to minimize direct sun exposure and is constructed with recycled materials, low-E glass, a white reflective roof, and high-efficiency MEP systems. Additional green features include rainwater capture, efficient landscaping, and natural daylighting.
