The Fort Worth operations of the Beck Group, a Dallas-based design and construction firm, was recently recognized by the North Texas AGC/ABC chapter for Excellence in Construction Renovation for its work on the Texas Christian University Sherley Hall Dormitory Renovation. The project took first place in the renovation $10 to $100 million category. Beck also received honorable mentions for the Texas Capital Bank Building project and the Reunion Tower Renovation project.

The Sherley Hall dormitory renovation recently received LEED® Gold Certification level status from the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating scale. The renovation was designed by KSQ Architects of Tulsa, Okla. and built by The Beck Group from its Forth Worth Office. Beck’s sustainability division also provided LEED® consulting services.
