PGC International Announces June Webinar on ISC Security Design
June 11th, 2009 | Category: Industry NewsThe Protective Glazing Council (PGC) International today announced the next in a monthly webinar series for architects, building owners, specifiers, glazing contractors and others in the architectural community. The free monthly webinar series focuses on various industry topics and runs an hour in length.
Scheduled for the last Friday of each month, the next webinar will be given by James T. Brokaw, director of the Security Engineering Group of Applied Research Associates. Brokaw, co-developer of the WINGARD window hazard suite of computer programs, which predict post-failure analysis design of windows subjected to blast loads, will be discussing Interagency Security Committee (ISC) design training. The presentation will focus on ISC’s security requirements for those currently involved in construction projects for the United States federal government.
“Brokaw brings a great deal of expertise to this topic of discussion,” said Brian Pitman, director of marketing and communications for the PGC. “Anyone who is serious about federal-based construction should consider this webinar a must-view.”
