See You in Boston - Architects' Guide to Glass & Metal

See You in Boston

May 8th, 2008 | Category: As I See It, Uncategorized

I’ll be off next week to Boston for the AIA Convention and Show. I hope to see you there. If you are attending the show, please stop by our booth, 14165. As we have for the past couple of years, we will be right next to the Glass Association of North America (GANA) booth, so in one stop you have access to the best information available about the architectural glass and metal industry.

Both the seminar program and the trade show floor look interesting. A number of the educational sessions focus on issues that tie into architectural glass and metal (daylighting, skyscraper designs and trends, high-performance building enclosures). Many industry companies are exhibiting in the show and a number of them will be introducing new offerings (Guardian, Sheffield Plastics, Häfele America, C.R. Laurence and Walker Glass, among others).

These industry companies are also participating in the Expo Education program whereby exhibitors present 15-minute mini-seminars in their booths for AIA/CES LU credits: GANA, Kawneer, Pella, Schott North America, Vistawall, Weather Shield and YKK AP America. You’ll be able to get information at these exhibitors’ booths on the topics and times for these sessions.

Boston beckons and I hope to see you there.
